After talking as a group the other day and looking at previous competition entries I had a bit of a think. Rick mentioned how sometimes it's better to have a good idea, than having a piece which is of great quality, but not supported by a strong idea.
I think that this piece that was created for 'Prankville' demonstrates a great idea, (I still love the production quality of this piece!), but it just shows how having a successful idea can lift the feel of a piece and give it the impact that it needs.
Hey man if this is the effect your going for why don't you check out the piece I put on my blog a while back. Its a title sequence for a russian film called Novaya Zemlye by Eduard Kargin. The section about 40 seconds in could be useful and something you could use for yours.

Cheers mate. That's definitely a look to consider and as I'm looking at the idea of puppets and how things within environments and society can change.
